Rev. Aaron Miller received an M.Div. in 2008 from Yale Divinity School and was ordained shortly thereafter. Rev. Miller serves as a chaplain at Yale New Haven Hospital, leadership team member of the Spiritual Institute (True Colors), and a partner in a logistics company.

Rev. Miller comes to MCC Hartford from MCC New Haven where he was serving as the Associate Minister for Pastoral Care.

As a transgender clergy person, Rev. Miller knows personally the challenges that face the gender nonconforming community.

Rev. Miller is a featured Workshop Presenter with the True Colors' Spiritual Institute and facilitates training around Gender Identity and Gender Expression in/outside communities of faith; which has also included a Workshop on Gender & Body Theology for the MCC Northeast Network Gathering held in July 2011 at MCC New York.

Rev. Miller is a political activist on issues that promote LGBTQ justice and equality and is a member of the Connecticut Clergy for Full Equality, an ecumenical collaboration of progressive faith leaders throughout the state.

Rev. Miller is an important resource for our congregation as we discern who God is calling us to be and to do at this time in the life of the church.

Sunday, September 11, 2011 was his first service here at MCC Hartford and he/we invite you to come join us some Sunday at 10am for worship service!
